Wealin Creator & Paid Books Terms
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These Creator & Paid Books Terms (“Creator Terms”) apply to users who participate in creator monetisation, submit Books for sale, receive or become eligible to receive creator earnings, or purchase paid creator content through Wealin.
These Creator Terms supplement the Wealin Terms of Use.
The Service is operated by:
MyKolly Limited

United Kingdom
Website: wealin.app
Legal: legal@wealin.app
Support: support@wealin.app
If these Creator Terms conflict with the general Terms of Use in relation specifically to Paid Books or creator monetisation, these Creator Terms apply to that issue.
Nothing in these Creator Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
1. Creator Monetisation
Wealin allows certain eligible users to offer approved digital Books to other users.
Creator monetisation is not automatically available to every account.
Eligibility, approval and continued participation depend on:
- age;
- follower requirements where applicable;
- Book eligibility;
- compliance with Wealin policies;
- marketplace integrity;
- applicable law; and
- any payment or reporting requirements that apply.
2. Minimum Age
You must be 18 years old or over to sell content or participate in creator monetisation.
Users aged 13–17 may use eligible non-creator features but cannot:
- sell Paid Books;
- receive creator earnings;
- access seller functionality; or
- participate in creator payouts.
Providing a false date of birth or attempting to circumvent age restrictions may result in loss of creator eligibility or account action.
Wealin may use proportionate age-assurance measures where reasonably necessary or legally required.
3. Follower Eligibility
For ordinary one-time Paid Book sales, creators must currently have at least:
1,000 Wealin followers.
Follower eligibility is based on followers within Wealin, not followers on another platform.
Users with fewer than 1,000 Wealin followers cannot ordinarily sell one-time Paid Books.
Administrative or internal testing accounts may be allowed to bypass the follower threshold for testing purposes.
An administrative bypass does not override the 18+ age requirement.
4. Genuine Followers
Creators must not artificially increase follower numbers.
Prohibited activity includes:
- purchasing followers;
- operating fake accounts;
- follower exchanges intended to manipulate eligibility;
- bot followers;
- coordinated artificial follow activity;
- using multiple accounts to inflate a creator's follower count; or
- any other attempt to misrepresent genuine audience size.
Wealin may remove artificial activity from eligibility calculations.
Where we reasonably believe a creator qualified through manipulation, we may:
- suspend seller functionality;
- require further review;
- remove creator eligibility;
- reject pending Paid Books; or
- take other proportionate action.
5. Eligible Paid Books
At present, only the following categories are eligible for ordinary Paid Book sales:
- City Book
- Restaurant Book
Creating another type of Book does not automatically make that Book eligible for sale.
Wealin may introduce additional eligible categories in the future.
6. City Book Requirements
A City Book submitted for sale must currently contain at least:
- 7 places;
- 15 photographs across the Book;
- a cover image;
- a meaningful Book description; and
- a personal note, comment or recommendation for every included place.
The Book should reflect genuine creator knowledge, experience or recommendation value.
Creators must not use meaningless or duplicate content simply to satisfy minimum numerical requirements.
7. Restaurant Book Requirements
A Restaurant Book submitted for sale must currently contain at least:
- 10 restaurant recommendations;
- at least 1 photograph per restaurant;
- a cover image;
- a meaningful Book description; and
- a personal comment or recommendation for each restaurant.
Technical compliance with these minimums does not guarantee approval.
8. Quality and Originality
Paid Books must provide genuine value to purchasers.
Creators must not submit Paid Books containing:
- copied guides;
- copied Books;
- plagiarised recommendations;
- filler content;
- duplicate places included merely to increase quantity;
- irrelevant images;
- knowingly false recommendations;
- misleading descriptions;
- content the creator has no right to commercialise; or
- otherwise fraudulent or deceptive material.
Wealin may assess quality, originality and compliance before approving a Paid Book.
9. Approval Before Sale
Creators do not obtain automatic selling access merely by completing a Book.
Where the feature is available, selecting Publish as Paid or an equivalent action submits the Book for Wealin review.
A submitted Paid Book may remain in pending status until reviewed.
The Book cannot be sold as paid content until approved.
A creator cannot approve their own Book.
Wealin may:
- approve;
- reject;
- request changes to; or
- later remove
a Paid Book where reasonably necessary under these Creator Terms or other Wealin policies.
10. Grounds for Rejection
A Book may be rejected where, for example:
- minimum requirements are not met;
- content appears copied or misleading;
- photographs cannot reasonably be used commercially;
- recommendations appear fabricated;
- required commercial disclosures are missing;
- content violates Community Guidelines;
- the Book creates legal or safety concerns;
- creator eligibility is not satisfied; or
- marketplace manipulation is suspected.
A rejection does not necessarily constitute suspension of the creator's general Wealin account.
11. One-Time Paid Book Prices
Wealin currently offers five one-time Paid Book price points:
- £0.99
- £3.99
- £15.99
- £29.99
- £49.99
The price points available to a creator depend on their current Wealin follower count.
12. Follower-Based Price Limits
Current pricing eligibility is:
| Wealin followers | Available one-time price points |
|---|---|
| 0–999 | Cannot sell |
| 1,000–9,999 | £0.99, £3.99 |
| 10,000–49,999 | £0.99, £3.99, £15.99 |
| 50,000–149,999 | £0.99, £3.99, £15.99, £29.99 |
| 150,000+ | £0.99, £3.99, £15.99, £29.99, £49.99 |
A creator may select any price available within their current tier.
Wealin may update price tiers or available price points prospectively.
The applicable customer-facing price will always be displayed before purchase.
13. Currency and App Store Pricing
The prices above describe Wealin's intended UK pricing structure.
Actual prices displayed by Apple may differ because of:
- local currency;
- App Store price conversion;
- tax;
- regional pricing;
- Apple's pricing configuration; or
- other App Store rules.
The price shown in Apple's purchase interface at the time the transaction is confirmed is the amount applicable to that purchase.
14. Purchasing a Paid Book
Paid Books purchased through the iOS application are purchased using Apple In-App Purchase.
Apple may process payment and related transaction information under its own terms and policies.
Wealin uses RevenueCat to assist with purchase validation and digital entitlements.
Creators and purchasers must not attempt to circumvent Apple's approved in-app purchase system for digital Paid Books made available through the iOS app. Apple's current rules require in-app purchase for unlocking digital content and functionality unless a specific exception applies.
15. One-Time Purchase Access
A successful one-time Paid Book purchase gives the purchaser continuing access to that Book through the purchaser's Wealin account.
This access is subject to:
- these Creator Terms;
- the Wealin Terms of Use;
- purchaser account status;
- availability of the Service;
- applicable law;
- intellectual-property restrictions;
- moderation and safety requirements; and
- circumstances where content must lawfully be removed.
A one-time purchase is not a recurring subscription.
16. Book Updates
A creator may update an existing Paid Book.
Where supported by the Service, authorised purchasers may receive access to updates made to the Book without purchasing it again.
Creators should not deliberately replace a Paid Book with materially unrelated content in order to misuse an existing purchaser base.
17. Removal of a Paid Book
A Paid Book may need to be removed or restricted after purchase because of:
- illegality;
- intellectual-property infringement;
- safety concerns;
- serious policy violations;
- fraud;
- regulatory requirements;
- third-party rights; or
- circumstances outside Wealin's reasonable control.
Wealin will not intentionally remove paid content arbitrarily simply to deprive purchasers of access.
Where applicable law requires a refund, repair, replacement or other consumer remedy, those rights remain unaffected.
UK law provides statutory rights in relation to digital content, and those rights cannot simply be removed by contract wording.
18. Refunds
Purchases made using Apple In-App Purchase are subject to applicable Apple transaction and refund processes.
Creators do not independently issue refunds through Wealin unless Wealin expressly provides such functionality.
If a transaction is:
- refunded;
- reversed;
- revoked;
- charged back; or
- otherwise invalidated,
the related creator earnings may also be reversed or adjusted.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer refund or remedy rights under applicable law.
19. Local Books
Wealin may allow eligible users who qualify as a local for a particular city to offer a Local Book through a recurring subscription.
Local Book eligibility is separate from the ordinary 1,000-follower requirement.
Follower count does not currently determine Local Book eligibility.
Only users who meet Wealin's applicable local eligibility requirements may offer a Local Book for that city.
Wealin may determine or review local eligibility using information reasonably available through the Service.
20. Local Book Subscription Price
The current intended maximum Local Book subscription price is:
£15.99 per month.
The actual price shown to purchasers may vary because of local currency, tax and App Store pricing.
The price, billing period and renewal information will be displayed before purchase.
21. Recurring Billing
A Local Book subscription is a recurring subscription rather than a one-time purchase.
Where purchased through iOS:
- billing is handled through Apple's subscription system;
- the subscription may automatically renew unless cancelled;
- renewal terms will be shown before purchase; and
- users can manage applicable subscriptions through their Apple account.
Wealin does not independently charge a user's payment card for an App Store subscription.
UK subscription regulation places increasing emphasis on clear pre-contract information, renewal information and straightforward cancellation.
22. Cancelling a Local Book Subscription
Cancellation stops future renewal in accordance with Apple's applicable subscription process.
Unless applicable law or Apple rules provide otherwise, cancelling a subscription does not necessarily mean immediate loss of access.
A purchaser may ordinarily continue accessing the subscription until the end of the already-paid billing period.
Applicable Apple account settings should be used to manage or cancel the subscription.
23. Loss of Local Eligibility
A creator may lose eligibility to sell a Local Book if the creator no longer satisfies Wealin's applicable local requirements.
Wealin may stop new subscription sales where a creator is no longer eligible.
Existing subscription treatment may depend on:
- the circumstances;
- whether the Local Book remains available and maintained;
- Apple subscription functionality;
- applicable consumer law; and
- any required notice to subscribers.
We will not knowingly continue charging users for a subscription where the relevant paid service can no longer be lawfully or materially provided without taking appropriate action.
24. Creator Revenue Share
Our current creator commercial model is:
75% creator / 25% Wealin
based on applicable Net Proceeds.
This does not mean that the creator necessarily receives 75% of the gross retail price displayed to the purchaser.
25. Net Proceeds
For these Creator Terms, “Net Proceeds” means amounts attributable to the creator transaction that are actually available for revenue sharing after applicable transaction deductions.
These may include:
- Apple or App Store commissions;
- platform fees;
- taxes;
- refunds;
- chargebacks;
- reversals;
- credits;
- mandatory deductions; and
- other transaction adjustments.
The creator's share is calculated from applicable Net Proceeds.
26. Estimated Earnings
Amounts displayed within Wealin before final reconciliation may be estimates.
Estimated earnings may change because of:
- refunds;
- reversals;
- tax;
- currency adjustments;
- App Store reporting;
- failed transactions;
- fraud investigations; or
- other transaction adjustments.
An estimated earnings balance is not necessarily a final amount legally payable.
27. Payout Eligibility
A creator's ability to sell content does not automatically guarantee immediate payout.
Before creator funds can be paid, Wealin may require completion of applicable payout onboarding.
This may include information required for:
- payment processing;
- identity verification;
- fraud prevention;
- tax reporting;
- regulatory reporting; and
- verification of payment details.
Wealin may hold payout until information reasonably required to make a lawful payment has been provided.
28. Payout Providers
Wealin may use a third-party payment or payout provider where creator payouts are made operational.
Where a third-party provider is used, creators may need to accept that provider's applicable terms.
Where possible, identity or payment verification may be carried out directly through the provider rather than requiring creators to send sensitive identity documents directly to Wealin.
Our Privacy Policy will describe relevant processing where required.
29. No Current Government ID Requirement for Seller Entry
Wealin does not currently require every user to upload a passport or government-issued ID simply to become eligible for creator functionality.
This does not prevent:
- a payment provider;
- a regulator;
- tax law; or
- applicable payment rules
from requiring identity verification before money can be paid out.
30. Taxes and Seller Reporting
Creators are responsible for understanding and complying with their own tax obligations.
Wealin does not provide individual tax advice.
Where applicable law requires MyKolly Limited to collect, verify, retain or report creator information, creators must provide reasonably requested accurate information.
UK digital-platform reporting rules can require qualifying platform operators to collect and verify information about reportable sellers and report relevant seller income information to HMRC. Whether a particular seller or activity is reportable depends on the applicable rules.
Failure to provide legally required seller information may result in restrictions on creator monetisation or payouts where required by law.
31. Creator Tax Responsibility
Unless law requires otherwise, creators are responsible for:
- declaring taxable creator income;
- paying applicable personal or business taxes;
- maintaining appropriate records; and
- obtaining independent tax advice where necessary.
Wealin does not guarantee any particular tax treatment.
32. Commercial Relationships Inside Paid Books
Charging users for access to a Book does not automatically make every recommendation within the Book sponsored.
However, creators must disclose separate commercial relationships with businesses included in the Book.
Examples include:
- a restaurant paying for inclusion;
- a free hotel stay provided in exchange for coverage;
- affiliate commission;
- gifted experiences;
- creator ownership of the featured business; or
- another material commercial connection.
Where applicable, the creator must use Wealin's commercial-disclosure functionality accurately.
33. Paid Placement
Creators must not accept payment from a business for secret inclusion or preferential placement while presenting that recommendation as wholly independent.
Where a recommendation is sponsored or otherwise commercially influenced, this must be clearly disclosed where required by law and Wealin rules.
34. Intellectual Property
Creators retain ownership of original content they lawfully create.
However, creators must have sufficient rights to commercially use all material included in a Paid Book.
This includes:
- photographs;
- videos;
- written descriptions;
- maps or illustrations;
- logos where applicable;
- third-party images; and
- other copyrighted content.
A photograph being available on the internet does not mean it is free to use commercially.
35. Licence for Paid Books
By submitting a Book for paid distribution, you grant MyKolly Limited the licence reasonably necessary to:
- host the Book;
- display its cover and previews;
- market the Book within Wealin;
- process and validate purchases;
- deliver the Book to authorised purchasers;
- maintain purchaser access;
- display creator information associated with the Book; and
- operate related marketplace functionality.
Ownership of your original content remains with you.
36. Rights of Existing Purchasers
Because purchasers may obtain continuing access to a one-time Paid Book, deleting or withdrawing a Paid Book after sales have occurred may affect purchasers.
Creators therefore acknowledge that Wealin may retain or continue making eligible paid content available to existing authorised purchasers where reasonably necessary to honour prior purchases, subject to:
- law;
- safety;
- intellectual-property rights;
- platform requirements; and
- these Creator Terms.
This does not require Wealin to preserve unlawful or infringing content.
37. Creator Account Deletion
A creator may request account deletion through Wealin's applicable account-deletion functionality.
Account deletion does not necessarily erase:
- completed purchase records;
- payout records;
- accounting records;
- tax records;
- refund records;
- fraud-prevention records;
- unresolved disputes; or
- other information that Wealin is legally required or permitted to retain.
Where appropriate, direct account identifiers may be removed from retained financial records.
Treatment of existing purchaser access will be handled consistently with these Creator Terms and applicable law.
38. Fraud and Marketplace Abuse
Wealin may investigate activity that appears to involve:
- fake purchases;
- refund abuse;
- stolen payment methods;
- creator collusion;
- follower manipulation;
- fraudulent sales;
- self-dealing intended to inflate earnings;
- misuse of purchaser accounts;
- circumvention of payment systems; or
- manipulation of Book eligibility.
Where reasonably necessary, we may temporarily restrict relevant earnings or payout processing while suspected fraud is investigated.
39. Reversals and Adjustments
Creator balances may be adjusted to account for:
- refunds;
- chargebacks;
- revoked transactions;
- fraudulent sales;
- duplicate payments;
- calculation errors;
- applicable taxes;
- currency corrections; or
- other legitimate reconciliation adjustments.
Wealin will not intentionally deduct amounts arbitrarily.
40. Suspension of Creator Features
Wealin may temporarily or permanently restrict creator features where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious or repeated policy violations;
- fraud;
- intellectual-property infringement;
- fake engagement;
- deceptive Paid Books;
- hidden advertising;
- unlawful activity;
- age ineligibility;
- payout compliance issues; or
- legal or regulatory requirements.
Loss of creator eligibility does not automatically mean deletion of the creator's entire Wealin account unless broader enforcement is justified.
41. Changes to Creator Eligibility or Pricing
Wealin may change prospectively:
- seller thresholds;
- Book eligibility requirements;
- quality requirements;
- price options;
- follower-based pricing limits;
- Local Book eligibility; or
- marketplace features.
Where reasonably practicable, material changes affecting existing creators will be communicated.
A change will not retroactively alter a purchaser's completed transaction merely because future pricing rules change.
42. No Guaranteed Income
Wealin does not guarantee that a creator will:
- be approved;
- make sales;
- earn a particular amount;
- obtain a particular follower count;
- receive ongoing marketplace visibility; or
- generate regular income.
Any examples, estimates or earnings displays are not guarantees of future results.
43. Ranking and Discovery
Paid Books may appear in:
- profiles;
- search;
- Explore;
- recommendations;
- creator pages;
- featured areas; or
- other discovery surfaces.
Creator eligibility does not guarantee any particular placement or ranking.
Wealin may use relevant signals to organise discovery, subject to applicable law.
44. Purchaser Responsibilities
Purchasers must not:
- copy and redistribute a Paid Book;
- resell access;
- share accounts to circumvent purchase requirements;
- scrape Paid Book content;
- publish substantial paid content elsewhere without permission; or
- otherwise infringe the creator's intellectual-property rights.
Purchasing access does not transfer copyright ownership to the purchaser.
45. Complaints
Purchasers may contact:
for support relating to:
- Paid Book access;
- entitlement issues;
- creator content complaints; or
- technical purchase issues.
Creators may use the same address for operational creator support.
Legal and intellectual-property matters should be sent to:
46. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Creator Terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
In the UK, consumers have statutory protection when purchasing digital content, including remedies where digital content does not meet applicable legal standards.
Where applicable law gives a purchaser greater rights than these Creator Terms, the mandatory law applies.
47. Relationship Between Creator and Wealin
Participation in creator monetisation does not, by itself, make a creator:
- an employee of MyKolly Limited;
- a worker of MyKolly Limited;
- an agent authorised to bind MyKolly Limited; or
- a representative authorised to make promises on Wealin's behalf.
Creators independently decide what lawful content to create and submit, subject to Wealin's marketplace rules.
Nothing in these Creator Terms determines employment status where applicable law requires a different legal classification based on the actual relationship.
48. Changes to These Creator Terms
We may update these Creator Terms where reasonably necessary because of:
- new creator functionality;
- payment changes;
- App Store requirements;
- tax or reporting requirements;
- marketplace changes;
- consumer law;
- safety requirements; or
- other legal or operational changes.
Material changes affecting existing paid arrangements will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
The date at the top identifies the current version.
49. Governing Law
These Creator Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot lawfully be displaced in a user's country of residence.
Nothing in these Terms requires consumers to waive mandatory local legal protections.
