Wealin Community Guidelines
Last updated: 20 August 2026
Wealin is a community for sharing real places, experiences, memories and recommendations.
These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) explain what is and is not allowed when using the Wealin mobile application, website and related services.
They apply to all users and all User Content, including:
- profiles;
- usernames and biographies;
- photographs and videos;
- experiences;
- memories;
- Books and Lists;
- recommendations and reviews;
- comments;
- creator content;
- Paid Books; and
- other content or interactions on Wealin.
These Guidelines form part of the Wealin Terms of Use.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Wealin should be a place where people can share their experiences without being targeted or abused.
Do not:
- harass or bully another person;
- repeatedly target someone with unwanted behaviour;
- threaten another person;
- encourage others to harass someone;
- use degrading or abusive language to deliberately attack another user;
- create accounts to continue harassment after being blocked; or
- use Wealin to intimidate or deliberately humiliate another person.
Disagreement and negative opinions are allowed.
Targeted abuse is not.
2. Hate and Discrimination
Do not post content that promotes, praises or encourages hatred, violence or unlawful discrimination against people based on protected or personal characteristics.
This includes content targeting people because of characteristics such as:
- race;
- ethnicity;
- nationality;
- religion;
- sex;
- sexual orientation;
- gender identity;
- disability; or
- other characteristics protected by applicable law.
Context matters. Content discussing discrimination, documenting personal experiences or criticising hateful behaviour is not automatically prohibited.
3. Threats and Violence
Do not use Wealin to:
- make credible threats of violence;
- encourage violence against another person;
- coordinate violent activity;
- celebrate serious physical harm;
- promote dangerous criminal activity; or
- instruct others to commit serious violent offences.
Content documenting an experience or discussing violence in an appropriate informational context may be treated differently from content encouraging violence.
4. Sexual Content and Nudity
Wealin is not an adult-content platform.
Do not upload:
- pornography;
- explicit sexual activity;
- content primarily intended for sexual gratification;
- sexually exploitative content;
- non-consensual intimate material; or
- sexual content involving minors.
Content involving sexual exploitation of children is strictly prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities where required.
Non-sexual photographs such as ordinary beach, swimming or travel photographs are not prohibited merely because they show skin.
5. Child Safety
The safety of children and teenagers is particularly important.
Never use Wealin to:
- sexually exploit or groom a minor;
- solicit sexual material from a minor;
- sexualise a child;
- distribute child sexual abuse material;
- facilitate inappropriate adult-minor sexual contact;
- threaten or blackmail a minor;
- reveal sensitive information about a child in a manner that creates a serious safety risk; or
- otherwise exploit or endanger a minor.
Users must be at least 13 years old to maintain an account.
Creator monetisation and advertising are restricted to eligible users aged 18 or over.
We may take immediate action where child safety is at risk.
6. Privacy and Personal Information
Respect other people's privacy.
Do not publish another person's sensitive or private information without an appropriate basis or permission.
This may include:
- private home addresses;
- personal telephone numbers;
- private email addresses;
- passwords;
- financial-account information;
- government identification numbers;
- private medical information;
- intimate material; or
- other information that could create a serious privacy or safety risk.
Do not use Wealin for doxxing, stalking or locating someone against their wishes.
7. Authentic Experiences and Recommendations
Wealin is built around personal experiences and recommendations.
You should not deliberately misrepresent:
- a place you have never experienced as your genuine personal experience;
- your relationship with a business;
- the circumstances under which you received a product or service;
- material facts about a recommendation; or
- another person's experience as your own.
Opinions are subjective. You are free to dislike a place that someone else loves.
However, intentionally fabricated reviews or recommendations designed to deceive users are not permitted.
8. Commercial Relationships
If you have a material commercial relationship with a business or place you recommend, you must disclose it where required.
Examples include situations where you:
- were paid;
- received a free meal;
- received free accommodation;
- received free services or products;
- received a promotional benefit in exchange for exposure;
- received an affiliate or referral commission;
- own the business;
- work for the business; or
- otherwise have a material connection that could affect how users understand your recommendation.
Where Wealin provides a commercial-relationship disclosure feature, use it accurately.
Relevant disclosures may include:
- Paid / Sponsored
- Gifted / Complimentary
- Affiliate
- Own / Connected Business
- Other Commercial Relationship
Do not hide a commercial relationship in hashtags, collapsed text or deliberately unclear wording where applicable law requires prominent disclosure.
Selling your own Wealin Book does not, by itself, mean that every business inside that Book sponsored you.
9. Reviews and Business Disputes
Users may share genuine positive and negative experiences.
A negative review does not violate these Guidelines merely because a business disagrees with it.
However, do not:
- knowingly publish false factual allegations;
- fabricate an experience to harm a business;
- demand money, free services or another benefit in exchange for removing a negative review;
- coordinate fake negative reviews;
- impersonate customers; or
- manipulate ratings or recommendations.
Businesses and users may report content they reasonably believe violates these Guidelines or applicable law.
10. Spam and Manipulation
Do not use Wealin to manipulate the platform.
Prohibited behaviour includes:
- repetitive spam;
- automated mass activity;
- fake engagement;
- fake followers;
- purchasing or selling Wealin followers;
- coordinated follower manipulation;
- bot accounts;
- fraudulent accounts;
- artificial likes, saves or comments;
- manipulating creator eligibility;
- manipulating recommendation systems;
- manipulating Paid Book sales; or
- using multiple accounts to evade platform restrictions.
Follower manipulation may result in loss of creator eligibility.
11. Scams and Fraud
Do not use Wealin to:
- scam another user;
- impersonate a business or person for fraudulent purposes;
- solicit money under false pretences;
- conduct phishing;
- distribute malicious links;
- steal account credentials;
- manipulate purchases or refunds;
- falsify creator transactions; or
- facilitate financial fraud.
We may restrict accounts or transactions where we reasonably identify suspicious activity.
12. Illegal Goods, Services and Activities
Do not use Wealin to facilitate illegal transactions or serious unlawful activity.
Content may be restricted where it offers, coordinates or meaningfully facilitates illegal goods or services.
A photograph or travel experience involving a lawful business is not automatically prohibited merely because the relevant product or activity is regulated.
Users are responsible for complying with laws applicable to them.
13. Dangerous Activities
Do not encourage people to participate in activities likely to cause serious physical harm without appropriate context.
Travel and experience content may naturally include activities such as:
- hiking;
- diving;
- skiing;
- boating;
- nightlife;
- adventure activities; or
- other activities involving risk.
Sharing these experiences is allowed.
However, do not intentionally provide dangerously false safety information or encourage users to ignore serious safety requirements.
14. Intellectual Property
Only upload content that you have the right to use.
Do not knowingly upload or distribute:
- copyrighted photographs you do not have permission to use;
- copied articles or guides;
- another creator's Book;
- protected videos;
- logos or commercial material in an infringing manner; or
- other protected works without appropriate rights or legal justification.
You may share photographs you created yourself and other material you are legally entitled to use.
If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed, contact:
Further information is provided in our Copyright / IP & Takedown Policy.
15. Impersonation
Do not impersonate:
- another Wealin user;
- a creator;
- a celebrity;
- a business;
- a public organisation; or
- another real person or entity
in a manner likely to deceive users.
Parody, commentary and fan accounts may be permitted where their nature is sufficiently clear and they do not otherwise violate these Guidelines.
16. Paid Books
Paid Books must comply with all Community Guidelines in addition to the Creator & Paid Books Terms.
Creators must not:
- sell copied content;
- sell misleading or fraudulent Books;
- artificially inflate Book quality or quantity requirements;
- include photographs they have no right to commercialise;
- deliberately misrepresent recommendations;
- conceal material commercial relationships;
- manipulate sales or reviews; or
- sell content prohibited by Wealin.
Paid status does not exempt content from moderation.
We may reject a Book before publication or remove it after approval if it violates applicable rules.
17. Paid Book Quality
Paid Books should provide genuine value to purchasers.
Creators should not attempt to satisfy minimum eligibility requirements using:
- duplicate places;
- meaningless photographs;
- copied descriptions;
- filler content;
- irrelevant recommendations;
- intentionally misleading information; or
- artificial entries created solely to meet a numerical threshold.
Meeting technical minimum requirements does not guarantee approval.
18. Comments and Interactions
Comments may express disagreement, criticism and different opinions.
Do not use comments to:
- harass users;
- repeatedly insult or target someone;
- threaten people;
- publish private information;
- spam;
- impersonate others;
- promote scams; or
- coordinate abuse.
Users may block other users where the feature is available.
19. Reporting Content
If you believe content or an account violates these Guidelines, use Wealin's in-app reporting functionality where available.
Reports may be reviewed by Wealin.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- take no action;
- restrict visibility;
- remove content;
- issue a warning;
- restrict functionality;
- remove creator eligibility;
- suspend an account;
- terminate an account; or
- take another proportionate action.
For moderation support:
For intellectual-property or legal matters:
20. Blocking Users
Wealin provides blocking functionality where applicable.
Blocking is intended to help users control unwanted interactions.
Users must not deliberately circumvent another person's block by:
- creating alternative accounts;
- using another person's account;
- repeatedly contacting them through Wealin by other means; or
- encouraging others to contact them on your behalf for harassment purposes.
21. Enforcement
We consider factors such as:
- the nature of the violation;
- severity;
- context;
- potential harm;
- whether conduct was intentional;
- previous violations;
- risk to users; and
- applicable legal obligations.
Not every violation results in permanent account termination.
However, serious violations may justify immediate removal or suspension.
Examples may include:
- child exploitation;
- credible violent threats;
- serious fraud;
- severe harassment;
- repeated enforcement evasion; or
- serious unlawful activity.
22. Removal Does Not Depend on Popularity
Follower count, creator status, Book sales or popularity do not exempt anyone from these Guidelines.
We may take action against a creator or highly followed account in the same way we may act against any other user.
23. False and Abusive Reports
Do not knowingly submit false reports to intimidate, silence or harass another user.
A report that ultimately results in no action is not automatically abusive.
The rule applies to deliberate misuse of the reporting system.
24. Law-Enforcement and Emergency Situations
Where legally required, we may preserve or disclose information in response to valid legal process.
Where we reasonably believe there is an imminent and serious threat to someone's safety, we may take appropriate action permitted by law.
Nothing in these Guidelines creates a general obligation for Wealin to monitor every user or every piece of content.
25. Appeals and Questions
Where an appeal or review mechanism is available, users may request review of eligible moderation decisions.
Availability may depend on:
- the type of decision;
- applicable law;
- the severity of the violation; and
- the relevant Wealin feature.
You can contact:
for questions concerning moderation decisions.
26. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as Wealin develops, new features are introduced or legal and safety requirements change.
Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated to users.
The date at the top indicates the latest version.
